The short version: this website doesn't collect personal information about you, and we don't show ads on this site. We use analytics and advertising-measurement tools to understand how people find us and which pages and pins are useful — but there's no account to create or newsletter to join. When you buy something, checkout is handled by our storefront partners — not by us directly.
Information we collect
Directly through this website: none. There are no sign-up forms, and the free Starter is a direct download that requires no email address.
When you purchase a product, our storefront partners — Etsy, Gumroad, and Lemon Squeezy — collect and process the information needed to complete your order (such as name, email, and payment details) as the merchants/processors of record. We receive only the limited order information they share with us (typically your name, email, and what you bought) so we can deliver the product and provide support. If you email us at hello@obscuramarketing.com, we receive whatever you choose to include in that message.
How we use information
Only to fulfill your order, respond to your questions, and provide support. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not build profiles on customers.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information. The only parties who handle it are the service providers that make the store run: our storefront partners (Etsy, Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy), our website host (Netlify), our domain/email provider (Cloudflare), our analytics and tag-management providers (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Cloudflare Web Analytics), and Pinterest (for advertising and conversion measurement). Each has its own privacy policy governing the data it processes.
Analytics, advertising measurement & cookies
We use analytics and advertising-measurement tools to understand aggregate traffic — how many people visit, where they come from, and which pages and pins lead to interest in our products. We never sell this data, and we don't show ads on this site.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track individuals — it just counts visits in aggregate. Google Analytics 4 sets its own cookies to measure site usage; the data is aggregated and IP addresses are anonymized. If you'd prefer not to be measured by Google Analytics, you can use a browser that blocks it or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Pinterest tag. Because we promote our templates on Pinterest, we use the Pinterest tag to measure which pins lead people to our site and to improve our Pinterest presence and any advertising we run there. It may set cookies to attribute a visit or a Buy-button click to Pinterest. It does not receive your payment details, and no purchase is completed on this site. You can manage this through your Pinterest privacy settings and your browser's cookie controls.
Checkout pages hosted by our storefront partners may set cookies necessary for the transaction; those are governed by the partner's policy.
Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information held about you. Because most order data lives with our storefront partners, requests are often fastest through them, but you can also email hello@obscuramarketing.com and we'll help or point you to the right place.
Data retention
We keep order and support emails only as long as needed to provide support and meet basic record-keeping obligations, then delete them.
Children
Obscura's products are business tools intended for adults and are not directed to children.
